About Benton
Benton Goodwin has been successfully working with small to large businesses since 2004, mainly in the excavating, construction, and oil related industries. He worked for a major heavy equipment company as a salesman and branch manager in Southern Utah, Las Vegas, Wyoming, and Colorado where he still has many good relationships.
Selling insurance and partnering with business as an insurance advisor has been a rewarding transition for him since March of 2014. Many new opportunities have arisen for him outside of the excavating and oil field contractor that span from technology and amusement park ride companies, to distributors and auto parts dealers.
Working with so many seasoned insurance professionals in the Dixie Leavitt Agency has given him access to literally decades of combined experience to draw insight and advice from on any given account.

Benton has excelled as an insurance agent. He takes pride in what he does and hates leaving people hanging in need of something. Customer service is his main priority.
From an “off duty” standpoint, Benton loves to be with his family, hunt, fish, ride horses, and travel. His favorite places are Hawaii and England. He and his wife, Laci have a son named Steele, and a daughter named Chevelle. He graduated from Southern Utah University in 2003 as an ag/business and criminal justice double major. He likes to laugh and have a good time.
