Ben Morton III

I began my career in the insurance industry in 1991 as a liability claims adjuster. In 1993, I joined the Morton-Whitley Agency, serving in various roles including associate agent and principal/owner. Today, I’m a producer with Leavitt Elite Insurance Advisors.

Over the years, I’ve written and managed a wide range of insurance products, from personal insurance to commercial and life insurance. Lately, I’ve been focusing more on helping commercial clients as I enjoy the unique challenges and opportunities they bring.

When it comes to helping clients, my priority has always been ensuring they have the right coverage, not just the lowest price. I take pride in guiding people through significant life changes, whether they’re buying a new home, boat, or motorcycle, or looking into life insurance to protect their loved ones. It’s especially rewarding to continue working with long-term clients as their needs evolve.

I’m originally from Jamestown, North Carolina, and I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in economics. Outside of work, I enjoy walking and hiking, kayaking, and taking weekend trips with my family.
