About Mike
I’m a co-owner at Leavitt Elite Insurance Advisors and run our Southern Pines branch. I’ve been in the insurance business for over 23 years, but my journey started in risk management, inspecting buildings for safety issues. Over time, I found my way to the agency side and never looked back.
One of the best parts of my job is meeting people and getting to learn about their businesses. I take a trust-first approach when it comes to helping clients with their insurance needs, by getting to know them and earning their confidence.
I was born in Raleigh, NC, spent a little time in Nashville, TN, and made Southern Pines home in 2010. I graduated from NC State in 1999 (Go Pack!) and have loved being part of this community ever since.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my wife and our three awesome kids. I’m a big music fan and enjoy going to concerts. I also enjoy anything that gets me outdoors.
