Debbie Merrival

My insurance career began in 2002, working in a niche market for recreational vehicles. Following that I worked in a niche market for manufactured home communities, and then in commercial and personal insurance until landing with HBT Insurance (now part of Leavitt Group).

My primary focus now is auto dealerships with a select few business accounts. I set myself apart from the competition with my customer service skills and response time.

I moved to Port Orchard, Washington, in 1978 and currently live in Lake Stevens. I have three adult children, two girls and one boy. I enjoy taking day trips to various destinations in Washington State. Growing up on Puget Sound, I feel like the water calls to me. I love taking walks by the water, not necessarily to “do” anything but to just take it in.

My favorite Italian restaurant is Brunos – I usually order the garlic Alfredo penne bake. I have a silly, fun-loving sense of humor and love making others laugh. It brings a smile to my own face when I can do that for others. My personal mantra/motto is to keep moving forward.
