Ken Ruffer

With nearly a decade of experience in the insurance industry, I have developed a strong foundation in crafting tailored solutions for businesses and property owners. At Leavitt Group Northwest, I help clients navigate the complexities of commercial property insurance, including residential risks like HOA and COA master policies, apartments, hotels, motels, and strip malls. I also work alongside senior living and care facilities to provide solutions that ensure security, stability, and peace of mind for those who rely on their care.

I stay informed on industry trends and best practices by serving as an active member of the Washington State Community Association Institute (WSCAI) and the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association (WMFHA). My involvement in both groups enables me to better serve my clients. My goal is to provide strategic guidance that protects assets, mitigates risks, and supports long-term growth.

Beyond insurance, my family is at the heart of everything I do. My incredible wife—who, outside of work, is a talented musician and performer—and I stay busy year-round with the passions that bring us joy: music, sports, and travel. Our daughters do their best to keep us on our toes, as my oldest thrives on the basketball court while my youngest shines in competitive cheer. I’ve lived in Salt Lake City and Portland, but no matter where life has taken me, the Seattle area has always felt like home.

What truly drives me in my role is the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life, build meaningful relationships, and make a tangible difference. Whether working with business owners, HOA board members, or fellow professionals at trade shows and conventions, I take pride in educating and assisting clients with their insurance needs and long-term goals.
