Leavitt Insurance Services of the Rockies recently purchased 400 backpacks and filled them with back-to-school supplies for students in their communities. The project was part of our Culture Club community outreach initiative, which focused on helping students begin the school year prepared and ready to learn. The backpack project was chosen as a way to make a positive impact across multiple communities.

Employees gathered for an afternoon of service, teamwork, and fun as they assembled backpacks packed with essential school items. While the primary goal was to support local students, the event also included a spirited team competition that brought an extra level of excitement and energy.

Teams competed to see who could assemble the most backpacks while maintaining accuracy and quality. To keep everyone engaged throughout the event, multiple challenge rounds were incorporated into the assembly process. One round tested speed, challenging teams to complete as many backpacks as possible within a set time. Another focused on accuracy, ensuring every backpack contained the correct assortment of school supplies.

Additional rounds introduced fun twists, such as relay-style assembly, memory challenges, and quality-control inspections that rewarded both teamwork and attention to detail. The friendly competition created plenty of laughter and encouragement as teams worked together toward a common goal.

The event resulted in 400 fully stocked backpacks that will help local students start the school year with confidence. Each backpack was filled with essential school supplies, helping students feel prepared while easing some of the financial pressure many families face during the back-to-school season.

Beyond the backpacks themselves, the project reflected the values that define our agency: service, community involvement, and teamwork. It was an opportunity for employees to come together, strengthen relationships, and make a positive impact for local students. Backpacks.jpeg Assembling backpacks.jpeg Texas office backpacks.jpeg
