Angie Thurman

I’ve been in the insurance industry for over twenty years. I’ve spent them increasing my industry knowledge so I can best serve my customers. The beginning of my insurance career was spent focusing on workers compensation insurance, so I’ve gotten pretty good at breaking down a workers compensation policy! That said, I know all other types of insurance as well and always am working to improve my skills in all areas.

I joined Leavitt Group because I knew they were a fantastic group of people. This position offered me the chance to expand my experience and boost my insurance industry knowledge. My job is incredibly rewarding because I can help my clients by putting their needs first and helping them find the coverages that best fit their needs.

I’m a Utah native. I grew up in Sandy and recently graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Science in Behavior Science with a family studies emphasis. Even though I graduated from Utah Valley University, my heart will always be with the University of Utah and their sporting programs. Go Utes!

My husband and I live in Lehi with our two incredible sons. I’ve served Utah Valley by acting as the President of the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce, Women in Business for four years. I love supporting women in business any way that I can. 

Lehi is an awesome place to live because it is a quickly growing community with a small-town feel. I especially love when the rodeo comes town because it brings back the small-town cowboy feel that Lehi was built on. In my spare time you can find me cheering on the Utah Jazz and Utah Utes. I also like to go out in nature and walk the Jordan River Trail, camp up in the mountains or down in Southern Utah, and go boating on Lake Powell.
