My job as a commercial insurance account manager is awesome because I get to help people every single day. I’m able to offer advice to our clients and help them find solutions that fit their needs. 

I recently joined Leavitt Group because I wanted a career, not just a “make-ends-meet” job. I’d worked in all sorts of jobs, from food service to being a CNA. Leavitt Group offered me everything I hoped for in a career. I’m constantly learning and growing to meet the challenges that I face.

I grew up in Monona, Wisconsin and went to college in Madison for a little bit to work on a major in nursing. When I moved to Colorado with my two wonderful children in 2016, I transferred and attended Adams State University, shifted gears, and started working towards a major in psychology.

I got married in 2020 and gained two amazing stepchildren. I’m a very good problem solver — with four kids in the house there’s always something to figure out or help with. For fun, our family likes to play with our dogs, go for hikes, play disc-golf, or play board games if the weather isn’t great. We enjoy eating out at Nino’s Mexican Restaurant, where I love to get their burritos or chimichangas.

My mantra is one I was raised with. “One more mountain.” It means that there are always hurdles, but you should take them in stride, one at a time.
