Janice Morreira

I’ve been in the human resources field for over 20 years and hold a Professional in Human Resources certificate from the HRCI. I started my career in high tech and worked for several different companies, including a position as the Director of Operations for a manufacturing representative firm.

I was born and raised in San Jose, California, and have a son and daughter who were heavily involved in community sports when they were young, which is where I discovered my passion for youth sports and coaching. I’ve been president of the Almaden Valley Youth Athletic Association (AVYAA) and a cheerleading coach for Pop Warner Little Scholars.

In 2002, with my HR background and a desire to support our community youth, I started my next life adventure by purchasing a children’s recreational gymnastics franchise. By 2008 we had four locations. I considered my franchises to be investments and didn’t enjoy the daily grind of business ownership, so in 2005 I began my consulting career. I was contracted by the gym franchisor to provide business and HR consulting services to new and existing franchise owners, both domestically and abroad.

In 2022, I switched gears again and joined Leavitt Pacific Insurance Brokers as the Director of Operations & Human Resources. I enjoy being part of the Leavitt Group family.
