Karl Hawkins

As a co-owner, I help oversee and manage our agency’s operations. I’ve been in insurance for 30 years, and for three of those years, I also worked as a high school history teacher. 

I am committed to being a trustworthy professional and take great pride in my responsiveness to clients and their needs, as well as in the exceptional services provided by Leavitt Pacific Insurance Brokers. Additionally, I excel at connecting with people from all walks of life and engaging in meaningful conversations, regardless of age or background.

I grew up in Mountain View, California, and graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a bachelor of science in social ecology. My wife and I have been married for 28 years and have three grown children. I remain active in my local community by mentoring high school students to help them reach higher education.

I also serve as a member of the Metal Finishing Associations of Northern and Southern California, the Jiffy Lube Association of Franchises, and the San Jose Chamber of Commerce.

Some of my hobbies include attending sporting events and concerts, playing pickleball, hiking, and relaxing at the beach while reading a good book. One of my favorite places to eat is Yuki Sushi, where I always order the bento box with chicken teriyaki, mixed tempura, and sashimi.
