About Bob
Robert L. Smith, Jr. is the founder and President of Franchise Insurance Agency, Inc. dba Smith & Leavitt Insurance Services based in Central Ohio for the last 35 years. Robert is licensed to sell insurance in 43 states and prides his agency in being a one stop shop for all insurance needs including Property & Casualty, Commercial, Life, and Financial products.
Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance and Risk Management from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 1979. During his time at OSU, he was an active member of the OSU Alpha Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma, a business fraternity at the university. Bob is certified with a Property & Casualty license, Life & Health license, and has been designated as a Life Underwriting Training Fellow (LUTCF).
Bob is an active member in his church, New Hope, in Central Ohio with his family. He is also an avid wine enthusiast, has a love for exotic and classic cars, and enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing.
