A Pocatello native, I am an only child to a single mom. My admiration for her runs deep, as she struggled and worked all throughout my childhood. This upbringing cultivated important qualities in my life. I connect well with people and always strive to be empathetic to their needs. Being thoughtful, transparent, and honest about risks my clients may not see is vital. As a result, my clients value the experience I provide in protecting the unknown.

I began my career in the finance industry, working as a registered investment advisor and as Vice President of Branch Investments for US Bancorp/US Bank. My finance background also includes several years working as an investment advisor for New York Life Insurance Company.

In 2008, I joined Leavitt Group because of the local autonomy and ability to be involved in my community, while still having the national reach and scope. That community connection and involvement is important to me. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce and have previously served as Chairman of White Pine Charter School, in addition to other volunteer work.

My free time is spent in the great Idaho outdoors, usually with my wife and two teenage daughters. I enjoy pulling the kids around on the boat, fishing, hunting, golfing, and driving our Polaris RZR anywhere I can.
