Dara Anderson

As the employee benefits team lead at Leavitt Great West Insurance, I have the unique pleasure of wearing several hats within the agency. I enjoy working with clients that I have had long-standing relationships and friendships with, managing an awesome account executive team, and coordinating team initiatives and sales strategies with our agents.

You could say that I grew up in insurance. I started at a healthcare company in Illinois and then worked in various roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield. I joined Leavitt Group because I wanted a small company environment that felt like a family.

I also enjoy working with Leavitt Group because I genuinely believe we care about our clients. We focus on relationships and truly partner with our clients to help them recruit and retain employees, with well-managed and thoughtful benefit packages that complement their business goals and strategies.

I’ve lived in Helena, Montana, nearly my entire life. I met my husband, Shaun, when I was 16, and we got married when I was 19. We’ve been blessed with two beautiful daughters, who both live just a couple of hours away.

Shaun and I consider ourselves foodies and enjoy cooking together. We especially love entertaining family and friends as often as we can. We own a small granite business, which can be a grind, so in our spare time we like hanging out at home with our two schnauzers, gardening, and working on DIY house projects.
