Jose Briseño

I’ve worked in insurance for more than 20 years, helping clients with everything from personal and commercial insurance to life and health insurance. At Pirkle Weir, I manage the office and focus on commercial insurance, but I also enjoy helping clients with their personal insurance needs.

I joined Leavitt Group after a longtime colleague presented me with an opportunity to run and grow a branch that needed attention. I’m grateful to be part of a team where we bring our experience, authenticity, and genuine care for people to the table every day.

Being fluent in both English and Spanish allows me to connect with clients in the language they’re most comfortable with. I want people to leave our office not just with the right protection, but with a clear understanding of their coverage and confidence in the decisions they’ve made.

I grew up in Ackerly, Texas—a tiny West Texas town of about 264 people. After graduating from Sands High School, I earned my associate’s degree at Howard College. Staying local was important to me, and those small-town roots shaped who I am today.

Most of my free time is spent with my wife and four kids. Whether it’s baseball, tennis, cheer, soccer, basketball, or just a family cookout at home, I love being there to support them.
