About Jim
I am a 3rd generation insurance advisor and focus on reducing commercial risk within the wine and grape growing space. I love the challenge of transferring risk, solving complicated problems, and providing exceptional value to my clients.
I earned my property and casualty license in 2009 after I graduated with honors from Montana State University, Bozeman with a bachelor’s degree in English.
I spent my childhood in St. Helena and Lakeport and have lived in the Napa Valley area since I graduated in 2004. When I’m not working, I enjoy researching emerging insurance markets, spending time with my wife and two daughters, learning about amazing wines, and cooking for my family.
I’m also an avid musician and enjoy composing music and playing acoustic and electric guitar. When time permits, I participate in catch and release fly fishing and other outdoor activities.
