TJ Tackett

As director of commercial and personal insurance, I oversee our agency’s servicing teams that support our business and personal insurance clients. I focus on building strong, knowledgeable teams that deliver excellent service, clear communication, and confidence in the coverage we help put in place.

I started my career in a local agency and later worked for a large international agency, where I oversaw small-business insurance for the western United States. I joined Leavitt United because I wanted to work alongside people who challenge me, inspire me, and share a commitment to doing things the right way.

I’ve earned the CISR, AIS, AINS, and CLCS designations, and was honored to receive a leadership award from our staff in gratitude for the guidance and unity I work hard to bring to our team.

I grew up in both California and Arkansas and have been happily married for 17 years. My wife and I share a blended family with three children and two grandsons. When I’m not working, I enjoy time with my family, going to concerts, sporting events, and hiking in Sequoia National Forest.
