Rex Day is a commercial lines account executive for Leavitt Group Insurance Agency. His knowledge, experience, and experience have influenced the agency, helping it to become one of the leading agencies in Leavitt Group.
Rex has been in insurance for over 55 years. He obtained his insurance license in December of 1960 while he was a senior at Delta High School. He worked in his father’s insurance agency in Delta, Utah, for ten years, took over the agency from his dad in 1970, and merged with Leavitt Group in 1985. In 1991 Rex sold the Delta agency and moved to Cedar City, Utah, as a co-owner of Dixie Leavitt Agency. In 2009 and again in 2012, Rex sold his stock in Dixie Leavitt Agency and returned to what he loves the most, selling insurance.
Leavitt Group Insurance Agency has received multiple awards from many different carriers over the years, as well as receiving company awards for service, client retention, and client growth.
Rex loves to spend time with his family. He loves horses and anything involving the outdoors. He swims for 50 minutes three days a week to keep in shape. Rex is a friend to many in the Cedar City and insurance communities. Above all, he just loves his job. Every day he says, “I still love what I do! I don’t sell insurance, I help the people and businesses in my community have the peace of mind of knowing that I am here for them.”
