Amy Stabnick

My journey in insurance started back in 1990 when I worked at another insurance company for my senior co-op job. I worked there for two years gaining knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry. Upon graduating from high school, I joined the Navy to serve my country. After I was honorably discharged, I proceeded to get a job with another local insurance agency where I worked at for 20 years. It was during that time that I excelled in my knowledge of insurance which led me to become the successful agent I am today.

I take pride in my customer service skills and my clients know that I work to ensure they have the best coverage available to them. I joined the First Independent-Descamps Agency in 2017 and was licensed as an insurance agent that same year. I also received my Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2020. I have had over 26 years of experience and am always up to date on new insurance coverages and constantly look out for my client’s best interests.

I recently got married in April 2020 and currently live in Chesterfield, Michigan with my husband and son. I have a daughter who lives in North Carolina and two step-children who also reside in Chesterfield. I love working out in my spare time and going on vacations with my whole blended family.
