I am Agency Principal at First Independent Agency (All Lines of Commercial Insurance) in Clinton Twp, Michigan, where I focus on respect and leveraging human capital—meaning I love to motivate, mentor, and lead talented professionals. As a native of metropolitan Detroit, I believe in accountability, empowerment, and loyalty. I overcome complex business challenges using my experience-based judgement, strong work ethic, and irreproachable integrity.
Prior to my insurance career, I worked for GE Healthcare where I was responsible for $900 million profit and loss—including sales, service, installation, service contract sales, and consulting services for a diagnostic imaging business. I strive to create a strong and positive culture and to lead by example.
I received a Bachelor of Science in business management from Wayne State University, attending on a full academic scholarship. I went on to receive an MBA from Walsh College and graduated summa cum laude.

My wife and I have three daughters, with whom we love to travel and play soccer. I also enjoy mixed martial arts, reading, shooting sports, and motorcycles.
