Carlie Trafton

Prior to starting a family, I worked in the insurance industry and was licensed in property/casualty and life/disability. Since becoming a mom, I have worn many different hats and picked up life experience in a variety of ways. Before re-entering the insurance world at Leavitt Great West, I served as a church secretary, learned to drive a bookmobile in rural North Dakota, clerked at the post office, and even designed floral arrangements. I also currently serve as a deacon at my church, Prairie Peace Lutheran.

I grew up in western Washington before moving to Montana. After high school I attended community college and Central Washington University. I’ve been married for over 20 years and have three teenage daughters. I also have a German shepherd named Sig, and three cuddly cats named Diego, Ozzie, and Ferb (don’t judge – my daughter named that last one).

Reading has always been my favorite hobby. I also enjoy growing flowers in my yard, taking walks with friends, doing just about anything with my kids, sitting in the sunshine, and the occasional retail therapy.

Folklore Coffee is my favorite lunch spot in town and one of my favorite features of Cut Bank is our walking trail by the coulee. Most of all, I love our community because of the people. This town is full of friends who have become family.

A wise man once said, “It is not where, but who you’re with, that really matters,” and I completely agree. People do make all the difference, which is why I joined Leavitt Great West. Leavitt is a team-oriented, family-friendly, personable company and I appreciate the atmosphere so much.
