Dalena Baker

I am an account manager for Leavitt Great West Insurance and I focus on captive and commercial insurance. I’ve been in the insurance industry for almost my entire professional career but haven’t always been with Leavitt Group. I decided to join Leavitt because I had the opportunity to bring clients alternative insurance choices. In the past, I’ve worked as a personal insurance agent and a commercial insurance account manager.

I really enjoy my job. It allows me to bond with clients and get to know them on a personal level. I’m also well-suited to my job because I’m great at multi-tasking. My hard work has paid off as well! In 2017, I was honored to have won “Commercial Insurance Most Valuable Team Member.” I also have the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation.

I grew up in Boulder, Montana. My husband, Mike, and I have been married for 33 years and we have three children, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. My favorite quote is, “Life is short, so live life to the fullest and love your family like tomorrow won’t come.” My hobbies include hiking, golfing, paddle-boarding, and exploring sand dunes all over the country in side-by-sides.

My favorite restaurant is The Brew House. They have a delicious blue cheesesteak salad that I love. In the summer, I enjoy spending time at the Helena Reservoir. It’s a bird sanctuary, so no motors are allowed, which makes it incredibly peaceful. It’s a hidden piece of heaven.
