About Melanie
Melanie Stecher is an Account Executive for Leavitt Great West Insurance Services. Her primary focus is servicing large employer groups and self-funded accounts and supporting their healthcare and ancillary benefits. Melanie finds helping members and group leaders with their questions fulfilling and strives to build a strong client relationship.
Melanie gained knowledge in the insurance industry while working for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana for 27 years. She held various positions that provided a foundation for understanding the insurance industry. These positions include claims processing, eligibility and membership, medical review and preauthorizations, and pharmacy program management. She then went into sales and account management where she supported large self-funded and fully insured employer groups through out Montana. Melanie enjoys recreating in Montana, traveling, and spending time with her two grandchildren.
