Melissa Reeves

I bring more than a decade of consulting experience to my role as an insurance advisor with Leavitt Great West Insurance, focusing on employee benefit solutions. My career began with providing professional services to organizations across the greater North Dakota area, including extensive work in federal contracting. This experience gave me a strong understanding of complex regulatory frameworks and the ability to turn intricate processes into simple, client-friendly solutions.

My approach to client service is all about understanding each client’s business and helping them make the most of their employee benefits. I believe in making data accessible to business leaders so they can make informed decisions and innovate within their benefit programs. Integrity and authenticity are at the heart of everything I do, ensuring that my clients receive honest, transparent guidance tailored to their specific needs.

Beyond my work, I am an active member of the community, serving on the board of Forward Edge International, a youth-focused international relief organization based in Vancouver, Washington. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Geology and GIS from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, and live in Watford City, North Dakota. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, gardening, exploring the Badlands, and spending time with my family on Lake Sakakawea.
