Melissa Reeves

My work as an insurance advisor with Leavitt Great West is grounded in a strong background in consulting, business operations, and strategic planning. I have worked with organizations ranging from local startups to Fortune Global 500 corporations, giving me broad exposure to complex business environments and diverse operational challenges. At the core of my work is a simple passion: helping businesses of all sizes find practical, client-focused solutions that balance compliance, efficiency, and long-term organizational goals. I believe there is real value beyond simply managing policies.  My goal is to be an advocate for clients, help them support their people, and challenge the status quo to create better outcomes.

My approach to client service is all about understanding each client’s business and helping them make the most of their employee benefits. I believe in making data accessible to business leaders so they can make informed decisions and innovate within their benefit programs. Integrity and authenticity are at the heart of everything I do, ensuring that my clients receive honest, transparent guidance tailored to their specific needs.

Beyond my work, I am an active member of the community, serving on the board of Forward Edge International, a youth-focused international relief organization based in Vancouver, Washington. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Geology and GIS from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, and live in Watford City, North Dakota. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, gardening, exploring the Badlands, and spending time with my family on Lake Sakakawea.
