About Ionela
I started my career with Griffin Owens in 2009 as a receptionist. Three months after joining the firm, I obtained my P&C license and worked as an insurance advisor for several years. I then moved into a leadership position where I managed the administrative department and coordinated the agency’s daily processes. Since 2017, I have been serving the agency as Vice President of Operations and managing the local IT division.
I was born and raised in Romania, where I went to college and graduated with a double major in environmental science and biology. I moved to the United States in 2004 and obtained a degree in business management, and I’m now pursuing my Certified Insurance Counselor insurance designation. You could say I love learning.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, three kids, and two dogs. I enjoy taking long walks and hikes, which allows me to spend quality time with my dear ones.
