About Tamara
I’ve been working in insurance since 2007, while I was still in high school! I like working with Griffin Owens and Leavitt Group because we have such a wide variety of unique options that we can offer our clients and their families.
We help put power back in our clients’ hands by educating them on what they’re purchasing and what they can expect. We also make sure to keep up on industry news so we can advise clients on new trends, important issues, and opportunities.
I’m a first generation Palestinian American and spent part of my developmental years in Palestine. I graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Global and Community Health and Disease.
I have a few different hobbies. I enjoy reading, hiking, and volunteering with various non-profits. Some of the groups I volunteer with the most are So Others Might Eat, DC Central Kitchen, and UNRWA.
