Malisha Ley

I am the executive assistant to the agency co-owner at Pirkle Weir, where I manage in-house operations and project management. I also step in wherever I’m needed to help keep things running smoothly.

Before joining Pirkle Weir and earning my insurance license in 2019, I worked in cosmetology. I loved helping people restore their confidence and feel their best, which is something I’ve carried with me into every role I’ve taken on.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York, and moved to Orlando, Florida, when I was about 11. Having lived in big cities most of my life, I never realized how much I would come to love small-town living.

Family is everything to me. I am blessed with two beautiful children—one an angel in heaven and one an angel here on earth—who light up my world and remind me every day that life is hard, but oh so beautiful. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and making people laugh.
