Jake McGovern

Born and raised in Billings, Montana, Jake is a commercial insurance agent with Leavitt Group, with a focus on the oil and gas, construction, and transportation industries. With more than seven years of insurance experience, he helps business owners and contractors identify risk, protect their operations, and build insurance programs tailored to their specific needs.

Jake graduated from Montana State University Billings with a bachelor’s degree in business finance, where he also played collegiate baseball. Before joining Leavitt Group, he began his insurance career with Northwestern Mutual, focusing on life and disability insurance. His background in finance and insurance provides a strong foundation for helping clients make informed decisions about risk management and protection.

Jake serves clients throughout Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and across the United States. His construction clients include utility contractors, heavy-civil contractors, excavation contractors, and a wide range of commercial contractors. In addition to commercial insurance, Jake assists contractors with surety bonding, helping them secure the support they need to pursue and complete projects with confidence.
