Eric, we know you don’t like the spotlight, but you deserve it.

Though I have yet to meet Eric, I was welcomed by name warmly and am full of gratitude for working with a company that values culture and hard-work like Eric does. His leadership is proof of the success of Leavitt Group and all the amazing ladies and gentlemen who work for this incredible company. I hope to spend many, many, many more years year under his guidance.

What I respect most about Eric Leavitt is his belief in equality.

His words and actions establish a culture of respect for all who work with and within Leavitt Group.

Eric is a down to earth, very compassionate, caring person. In our quarterly meetings he always expresses his thanks to each and every person in our company for their hard work.

In our Culture Club program, if you are nominated, Eric personally takes time out of his day to call each nominee to thank them for their service.

If you happen to run into Eric at the store, restaurant, or anywhere, Eric always acknowledges and takes time to talk. He is a great example of the type of person I want to be. He leads by example.

I have never personally met nor talked to Eric, but I can tell from his emails and our Zoom meetings how much love and compassion he has for his employees, co-workers, and family.

I love that he is tender hearted and I love his singing voice.

I love everything about Eric! Everything! Here are a few specifics: I love that his remarkable intellect has not engendered the slightest shred of arrogance. Rather he seeks to assure the comfort and confidence of all. I love his wonderful wit! Subtle, sharp, quirky, but never aimed to humiliate...except perhaps with his brothers, who can hold their own. I love his marvelous curiosity that impels him to seek to know! He quietly shares knowledge respecting the learner as his equal.

I love the broad view through which he sees the potential of people, often more clearly than they see themselves. I love his warmth and generosity of spirit. If you have received his counsel, consolation, or correction, you know he is your friend. I love that he sees to the center of issues, problems, and challenges, then responds with uncommon fairness. I love that creative solutions flow to him from his capacity to listen, consider, and act. I love his expansive inclusion of needy souls of any age, color, or creed. I cherish a myriad of truly significant things he has taught me without preaching.

I love the way he values Melissa's gifts and wholeheartedly supports her in her sharing. I love that the presence of grandchildren are reason enough to sacrifice a ballgame. I love that his trials and disappointments have made him more insightful, understanding, and compassionate, never embittered. I love that he is filled with love. Years ago I had opportunity to write a small treatise about his uniqueness. I remember that the last line read, "He's the one who takes me in his arms to dance around the kitchen to music only he can hear."

We don't dance so much anymore, but he still takes me in his arms sometimes and I hear music!

I love that Eric is so caring and compassionate towards all Leavitt Group employees. He shows so much grace in all of our meetings. He exemplifies what a CEO should be and I greatly admire his work ethic.

Eric treats everyone like they are human and is never too busy to have a conversation regardless of the topic.

A few years ago, at a company conference, I fell very ill. My wife went looking for help and Eric was the first she found. She explained what was going on and he quickly jumped to action. He gathered me up and took me to a medical facility for help. Knowing he may miss his flight home, he didn't hesitate. He made sure I was going to be ok and gave my wife some assurances of additional help if needed.

I can't thank him enough for what he has done for me over the years, nor can I explain what my partnership with him means to me. My family's and my life has been blessed beyond words.

I love Eric's caring demeanor. He is a great leader!

At the first Leavitt Group conference I attended, Eric said something to the effect of, "The purpose of a company is to serve its employees, not the other way around." The statement caught my attention, and seeing him generously living by it has made a lasting impact. I know that I am not alone in feeling a great sense of pride in belonging to Leavitt Group. Eric's example of service-leadership has spread through the company, and many of us are grateful for opportunities to give back.

I've worked for Leavitt Group Enterprises for 29 years this February. My time with Eric Leavitt has been key to my tenure and job satisfaction. After completing a brief internship, I was asked to work full time.

As I became more comfortable with my new job and understanding of Leavitt Group's operating structure, I was fascinated with Eric's job duties at the time. Eric was traveling around the country, meeting with new affiliate opportunities, and holding operations discussions with Leavitt Group's co-owners. I approached Eric to tell him of my interest in what he was doing and that if there were opportunities to travel with him to learn more about the company, I would love that opportunity. My recollection is that within a couple of weeks, I was off and running on several trips per quarter.

Eric's leadership, mentorship, and friendship allowed me to explore a new avenue of job duties and responsibilities. These experiences have greatly benefited me and they allow me to perform my duties as Agency Operations department leader. I'm grateful for the early times, as well as Eric's continued leadership and friendship. He's one of the best people I know.

Eric's amazingly quick business intellect is matched only by his universal compassion for our employees.

Eric Leavitt is a leader with integrity who draws on his values to guide decisions, behavior, and dealings with others. He has a clear conviction about what is right and wrong and is respected for being genuine, principled, ethical, and consistent. He has a strong sense of character, keeps promises, and communicates openly, honestly, and directly with others. We are grateful that he is our leader. He is an inspiration to us all.

Eric is genuine and authentic. I feel blessed to be in this partnership with Eric and Leavitt Group.

Here are two storys that happened to us this year.

At Leavitt Group, the organization lives and breathes an amazing culture with seven guiding principles. Eric is the leader and displays that culture to all of us. I remember a recent visit he made to our offices in Sugar Land, Texas and we had lunch with my co-owner, Tony May. Normally at business meetings, and even during lunch, the focus is on the agency and business strategies. During this lunch, the three of us spoke about how to raise a family and how it's not always easy. I was thankful for the chance to gain years of wisdom from Eric and Tony that day.

On the same visit, Eric met with all of our staff, getting to know their names, where they were from, and a little about their families. After his visit, our staff commented on how kind and focused his was on each person. Tony and I mentioned that Leavitt's culture and Eric's leadership show with each Leavitt employee that we have met in our two-year affiliation. In addition, Eric wrote each of the staff a personal email following up on that person's discussion or dialog they had with him. It blew away the group with that personal touch.

Eric sees things clearly and responds with kindness and balance.

He has a rare capacity for both steely analysis and abiding love. He uses both in genuine ways to unify those he leads and serves.

Eric is always in a smiling, positive mood. He's a class act and one of the truly good guys.

Eric and I became colleagues in early 1993. Through these many years, I have watched him in a wide variety of situations. His intellectual abilities, eidetic memory, and knowledge and understanding of macroeconomic trends make him a formidable business mind and thought leader. His organizational vision is empowered by his keen eye for the talents and abilities of others to whom he delegates authority. He gives opportunity, trust, and encouragement to those he leads. As many have expressed, for a person of such prodigious intelligence, Eric is uncommonly wise and compassionate. He is kind. Eric has helped me overcome personal challenges and has helped me in my professional development. I love and am grateful for Eric.

His passion to know formed a multifaceted curiosity about people and things. As a little boy he read encyclopedias regularly. A precursor of the man he would become. He loved sports as soon as he could walk. Not because his brothers did, but simply from his own spirit eager to build his skill. He was never too burdened to shoulder another's trouble.

His legendary capacity for seeing solutions is always followed by a willingness to help. I love his great heart full of love and the limitless generosity with which he bestows it. I love that he applies a grand measure upon his mother and me. I love all these things and many, many more inherent in this very cherished son.

One thing I love about Eric is that he is not afraid to share his values even though everyone might not agree. In our employee zoom meeting he talked about how we are all children of God and it was just really cool to hear him share his thoughts and not be worried about who is on and what they think. I appreciate all that he has done for Leavitt Group and the opportunity I have to work here.

Eric is one of the most talented people I have ever met. He is able to pick up on complex issues in a matter of seconds, identify potential solutions, and make a competent decision with confidence. Eric is able to keep a balanced perspective, even in the face of extreme challenges. He has incredible financial instincts.

The trait that sets Eric apart from other very bright CEOs, however, is his deep love of each individual throughout the organization he leads. He genuinely cares about everyone and is able to show that through unparalleled authenticity. He has the ability to make us all feel loved through his unique, emotional communication style.

I feel like I'm part of Eric's family!

He truly cares about me as a person, knows my name, and will make time for me if I were to ask. It's not uncommon for him to stop in the breakroom for a quick chat while grabbing a soda and snack. He takes the time for the personal touch because he really cares and loves us.

I have so much respect and love for Eric. He instinctively sees the bigger picture in every situation.

He sees that happy people work harder and create a positive environment and he does everything he can to foster happy people. If you get a minute to talk to Eric one-on-one he makes you feel loved, valued, and appreciated. There have been many times when I've run into Eric in the parking lot or in the hall thinking that he's got to be so busy and we'll just wave, say "hi" and keep walking, but that's never what happens. He'll stop, ask how I am, and then recall details about my life, names of my family members, etc. The Leavitt Group culture is one that makes you never want to leave and that is in large part due to Eric. He creates a culture of genuine love for people and is so quick to show appreciation. Eric puts people above problems without even thinking twice about it. Loving people is at his core and Leavitt Group is a reflection of that.

I just met Eric today. He is warm and welcoming. It's a privilege to work for this company and enjoy the great environment.

Eric is genuine. He walks his talk and it is clear that he cares about every single person he interacts with.

Eric is an excellent delegator. He makes sure that assignments are understood and that the necessary resources are available to complete the assignment.

Eric is the best!

He has a big heart, and he's incredibly smart. Not only does he engender the upmost confidence as a leader and strategic thinker, he also shows through actions and authentic expressions his love for the people in our organization. He's as genuine as they come, and he's appreciated by all.

His plate is overflowing with responsibility and obligations, yet I see him often make time to lift or help others. I've personally experienced this on multiple occasions. Most recently, he made time for a couple of teenage boys of employees (one being mine) to let them pitch a sponsorship for a local sports team. I expected a quick five-minute meeting. Instead, Eric spent over a half hour with them to educate them about the importance of them asking for the sponsorship and the positive influence their team makes to the local community and economy. It was an amazing experience, and I have a hard time picturing that happening anywhere else!

I've been with Leavitt Group for over 20 years, and it's the quality of leaders like Eric that make this a special place to be. Thank you, Eric, for all you do and congrats on this well-deserved honor!!!

I am so excited, happy, and ecstatic that I could go on and on about Eric! I can't think of a better CEO to receive this honor. It is so well deserved and we are all so lucky to have him. I always say when I train an office in our systems and they do well, that it's not so much my training but their management and co-owners. Last year, my dad was working on Eric's house, and it came up that I worked at Leavitt Group. Eric took time out of his day to call me after talking to my dad, telling me that he had told my dad that he knew me and was so grateful for everything I'd done for the company. I'm a graphic designer and my dad is in construction, so my dad doesn't really understand my job. Hearing that from the CEO meant so much to him, and in turn, meant so much to me.
