About Santiago

I take pride in my ability to decode experience mod worksheets and develop insurance programs tailored to businesses. With both my Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations, I bring my clients a strong commitment to detail and service in every interaction. 

I joined Leavitt Group to challenge myself in a new industry, and I’ve found that my ability to connect with people has been instrumental in my journey. Before entering the insurance industry, I spent years with horses—riding, training, and competing in three-day eventing—an experience that honed my discipline, communication, and patience. All these qualities continue to shape my approach to serving others.

I earned my associate’s degree in business administration from Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) and grew up on a farm near Antigua, Guatemala, where my family runs a business. Outside of work, I enjoy bowling, hiking, horseback riding, working out, and exploring great food spots in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
