David Ellinghouse

My professional life has been interesting and varied. As a teenager, I worked at my father's newspaper office, helping to produce the Wayne County, Missouri weekly newspaper. After graduating from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education/Mathematics, I taught high school mathematics for three years in Bloomfield, Missouri. I then worked as a licensed nursing home administrator for eight years before getting my insurance license in 2010.

Insurance is a great fit for me because I am a people person who enjoys meeting and helping others.
I focus on personal, property, casualty, life, and health insurance. I love providing solutions with an emphasis on individual needs through consistent, trustworthy, and dependable service.

“Love God and Love People,” is my mantra, so serving in the community is a huge part of my life. Currently, my community service includes being a deacon at First Baptist Church in Dexter, the Dexter Rotary Club, the Keller Public Library Board, and the Dexter Bearcat Booster Club.

I grew up in Piedmont, Missouri and attended Clearwater Schools from kindergarten through high school graduation. My wife and I have two children and love raising them in a small town. I enjoy sports, landscaping, the outdoors, church fellowship, and spending time with my family.
