Damon Crossland

I lead Crossland Coverage, an independent insurance agency in El Paso, Texas, and part of Leavitt Group Texas Select. With more than 40 years in the insurance industry, I’m still passionate about helping others protect what matters most and reach their goals.

I began my career in 1982 with the Goldfarb Insurance Agency after graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso, joining my father-in-law in the family business. In 1986, our agency was acquired by Rogers & Belding, a local insurance firm where I continued to serve both commercial and personal insurance clients.

After more than 20 years in the business, I launched my own Nationwide Insurance agency, working with one of the country’s largest insurers to serve the El Paso community. In 2022, we became an independent agency, giving us the flexibility to find personalized solutions for our clients across a broad range of national and regional insurers. In 2025, we joined Leavitt Group Texas Select, expanding the resources and support we can offer even further.

I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 44 years. We have a son and daughter, and two grandkids we visit as often as possible—even though they live in California and Ohio.

In my spare time, I volunteer with the Rotary Club of El Paso, where I recently served as president. I’m also active in tennis and golf and enjoy playing in local, regional, and national tournaments. But my toughest opponent might be the El Paso heat, especially when it comes to keeping our backyard garden thriving with fresh fruits and vegetables each season.
