Juan Zavala

I love learning and teaching. I grew up in Mexico and Orange County and have a bachelor’s degree in intensive psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I also excelled in the Spanish for Spanish Speakers Program. In addition, I’ve obtained my health, accident, and life insurance licenses.

After graduating from UCSC, I was employed with an insurance carrier for five years. I worked across different departments as an advocate and educator with both medical providers and members. This experience prepared me to truly understand the needs of our clients and employees.

Because my health insurance background is in a member-focused system, I have a consultative approach with clients. I learn a lot about each client and focus on providing the best policies and rates for them and their employees. I am a great communicator and deliver information with clarity and precision, so our clients know exactly what they’re getting. Our agency excels at customer service and puts our clients at the forefront of everything we do.

I love Salinas and Monterey County for the restaurants, farmers markets, healthy activities, community events, and wonderful people and organizations. My wife and I enjoy hiking, cycling, traveling, going to the beach, and playing the occasional playing video game.
