Melissa Langley

As an agency co-owner and commercial insurance practice leader, I bring 24 years of experience helping California businesses protect their operations, employees, and long-term success. Throughout my career, I have worked with businesses across a wide range of industries, with particular focus on construction, agriculture, food processing, and other complex commercial operations.

My career began as a commercial insurance agent serving small businesses, and I later advanced into commercial insurance management and marketing leadership roles. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of the insurance marketplace and the unique challenges business owners face. I also earned both the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is helping business owners better understand their insurance programs. I believe in taking the time to listen, learn about each client's business, and provide objective guidance that helps them make informed decisions. Whether it's identifying potential coverage gaps, navigating contractual insurance requirements, or developing a comprehensive insurance program, my goal is to be a trusted resource and advocate for my clients.

Having called Monterey County home for more than 40 years, I am passionate about supporting our local business community. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and am a member of the Junior League of Monterey County. Through these organizations, I enjoy building connections, supporting local initiatives, and contributing to the continued success of our region.

Outside of work, my husband and I are raising two children, along with two long-haired dachshunds and a cat. As a family, we love hiking and mountain biking throughout Fort Ord National Monument, Toro Park, and Big Sur. My favorite pastimes are cheering on my children at their lacrosse, volleyball, and basketball games, running local trails, reading, cooking, and supporting the many local businesses that make Monterey County such a special place to live and work.
