Honesty and integrity are two of the most important things in my life. It doesn’t matter if I’m talking about my work or personal life — I strive to be someone people can trust and know that I have their best interest at heart.

I do a lot of different things at Texas Select. I’m the Agency President, and also help our business clients develop risk transfer programs. Our agency is newer to Leavitt Group, but we’ve appreciated every single second. Leavitt’s culture has been a perfect fit — we share a focus on integrity, honesty, trustworthiness, and friendliness.

I’ve been a part of the insurance industry since 1993, when I first joined Texas Select. I represented a few different insurance carriers over the years until recently, when the agency became independent. Now, we offer clients insurance solutions from many different carriers across the nation.

I spent my childhood in Edmond, Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1988 with my business degree. After three years, I returned to school at Texas A&M Corpus Christi and earned my Master of Business Administration in 1993. That same year, I married my wife, Kathleen. We have four children whom we love to spend time with.

We’re empty-nesters now, which gives time to enjoy things like traveling, playing golf, and participating in mission work around the globe for our church. Mexican food is one of our favorites and we love to eat at Lupe Tortilla, because they have the best fajitas around. The Houston area also has delicious BBQ, too.
