Patti Dye

I've been a licensed insurance professional since 1976. I started out working in the reinsurance department for Guardsman Life Insurance in Iowa. I moved back to Colorado in 1980 and have worked with various insurance agencies over the years. I work in commercial insurance and particularly love the equine insurance world.

My strengths lie in my organizational and problem-solving skills. I value the trust my clients place in me and strive to find them the best solutions.

I grew up in Monte Vista, Colorado and have a son and grandson that live central Nebraska. My hobbies are my horses! I've had horses all my adult life and enjoy being able to have my own place where I keep them. I showed on the Arabian show circuit for 19 years but quit showing when I came back to the San Luis Valley.

My favorite local restaurant is Juantio's Mexican Kitchen in Alamosa, Colorado. It has the best Mexican food, and the owner is one of my clients! In my spare time I love going to the mountains, riding horses with friends, and spending time with my mother. Someday, I would like to venture back to the world of art.
