Mike Montgomery

I joined Farmer Woods Group in 2017 as the agency's director of risk services. I was then promoted to chief operating officer of Famer Woods Group in 2019. I love our agency’s integrity and commitment to excellence.

I have over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, both on the carrier and retail agency side. I started my career in the insurance industry with professional training and experience in claims, loss control, and underwriting with a regional insurance carrier before moving over to the retail side.

I’m an alumnus of Arizona State University, where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in business interdisciplinary studies. I heavily concentrated my studies in the field of business related to management strategy, communications, and finance. I’ve also earned the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) insurance designation.

I grew up in Tucson and have two adorable chocolate Labradors. In my free time I enjoy skiing, rock climbing, fly fishing, camping, traveling, hiking, running, and hanging out with family and friends.
