About Leah
Leah Bright is an insurance advisor with Leavitt Group Insurance, focusing on risk management solutions for ranches, lodges, outfitters, and outdoor recreation businesses throughout the West. Drawing on firsthand experience in the guest ranch and hospitality industries, she helps business owners identify risks, protect their assets, and confidently pursue growth opportunities.
Before entering the insurance industry, Leah worked as a wrangler at a renowned Wyoming guest ranch and later supported industry leaders through her work with the Dude Ranchers’ Association. Those experiences provided her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing ranch, hospitality, and recreation businesses, allowing her to bring practical industry insight to every client relationship.
Today, Leah partners with business owners to build comprehensive insurance programs tailored to their operations, helping them protect what they have built while preparing for the future.
Leah lives in Castle Rock, Colorado, where she is a full-time single mom, entrepreneur, real estate investor, and lifelong horsewoman. After years of trail riding and Western riding, she recently took on a new challenge by training in Eventing and English riding with a focus on jumping. She also enjoys hiking, camping, and pursuing investment opportunities.
As an entrepreneur and real estate investor, Leah understands the challenges and opportunities that come with building, managing, and growing a business. Most recently, she completed a value-add real estate project that transformed her residence and detached garage into two successful short-term rental properties. During the renovation, she lived in a camper on-site while overseeing the project from start to finish. After successfully completing the transformation, she sold the property and is now looking forward to her next investment opportunity.
Her firsthand experience evaluating risk, managing investments, creating value, and executing a successful exit gives her a unique perspective and a natural connection with the entrepreneurs, business owners, and investors she serves every day.
