Jeff Balasa

Originally from Chicago, I relocated to Phoenix in 2017 and am proud to call the Valley home. I’m an avid golfer who played competitively in both high school and college, and the game continues to shape how I approach life and work—through discipline, strategy, and patience. Outside of golf, I enjoy cooking and exploring Phoenix’s ever-growing restaurant and bar scene. I recently married my beautiful wife, Makenna, and we live in Arcadia with our cinderblock of a French bulldog, Penelope.

Professionally, I bring more than 15 years of experience in marketing and advertising agencies, where I worked primarily on the client services and strategy side of the business. Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with clients across a wide range of industries—including financial services, cannabis, beer and liquor, and higher education, among others. That diversity of experience allows me to approach each new relationship with a broader perspective and apply insights gained from many different business models and challenges.

At the core of everything I’ve done—and continue to do—is a passion for building strong relationships, establishing trust, and solving problems. I firmly believe in leading with empathy, placing clients’ needs first, and serving as a true partner rather than simply a service provider.

At Farmer Woods, I am especially passionate about working with complex risks and developing solutions that are both creative and precise. My goal is to be seen as a consultant who is deeply involved, highly invested, and genuinely committed to the long-term success of the companies I work with.
