InsuranceHub, a Leavitt Group affiliate, is involved each year in the Sip & Swine BBQ Festival, which serves as Home of Hope at Gwinnett Children’s Shelter’s largest fundraiser. Home of Hope provides care and support for children and their young mothers in need.
Sip & Swine was founded 11 years ago by InsuranceHub founder Jim Lloyd, who retired last year. Jim helped establish the event as a major community fundraiser and served on the Home of Hope board of directors for many years. This year’s event will be held March 6–7, with Chrissy Keheley, associate vice president at InsuranceHub, now serving on the board and co-chairing the event alongside Jim.
InsuranceHub supports Sip & Swine in several ways. In addition to sponsoring the event, agency volunteers assist throughout the weekend, including staffing the People’s Choice tent and helping with parking operations. Sip & Swine brings together thousands of community members while raising funds for the local children’s shelter.
The impact of Sip & Swine continues to grow each year. In 2025, the event welcomed approximately 30,000 attendees and raised $110,000 for Home of Hope. Over the past 10 years, Sip & Swine has generated more than $1 million in support for the shelter.
Beyond Sip & Swine, InsuranceHub supports Home of Hope through additional fundraising efforts throughout the year and by sponsoring families during the holidays. These efforts reflect InsuranceHub’s continued involvement in the communities they serve.
