Over the past few months, Leavitt Recreation & Hospitality Insurance (LRHI) has found meaningful ways to connect with its community and make a positive impact!
Throughout October and November, LRHI hosted weekly virtual bingo games to raise funds for their local animal shelter, which went towards purchasing food and providing medical care and safe shelter to the animals in the community.
That same spirit of giving and connection carried into the holidays, when the team proudly participated in their town’s annual Parade of Lights, a beloved community tradition. Their float, themed “Camping for Christmas,” was designed to look like a cozy winter campground. The float featured a tent, lit evergreen trees, a handmade campground sign, and a warm fire pit scene. Even in the cold, snowy weather, the atmosphere was full of laughter, caroling, and holiday cheer. The agency distributed hundreds of bags of fruit snacks and candy to community members, creating a memorable experience for everyone lining the streets.
Whether celebrating alongside neighbors at a hometown event or finding creative ways to give back beyond traditional volunteer efforts, these moments reflect LRHI’s belief that service is about showing up, creating joy, and making a meaningful local impact, one connection at a time.
