Abby Martinez

As senior vice president of affiliation development at Leavitt Group, I focus on sourcing and cultivating strategic partnerships with insurance agency owners across the country.

My work centers on creating merger and acquisitions opportunities for agency leaders who value culture, autonomy, and retained equity, while also seeking access to the resources and support needed to fuel growth and profitability.

I am passionate about building strong, long-term relationships that help agencies expand their opportunities and thrive within a collaborative network.

Before joining Leavitt Group, I built my career in sales and leadership across industries including insurance, medical devices, and technology. Along the way, I held roles at Gallagher, Stryker, Johnson & Johnson, and Boston Scientific—earning recognition and awards such as “Top Rep of the Year” and multiple President’s Club awards for the highest performance.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business, completing the degree in a condensed two years with Dean’s List honors.

My two young children, husband, and deep relationships with friends and family are truly what spins my world. We moved our family to a small hobby farm property and really enjoy spending time in our little haven of a backyard. I am a huge animal lover, I enjoy hiking and outdoor adventure, and think the perfect day consists of those two things and time with my loved ones.
