About Caylor
I’ve worked for Leavitt Group since February 1994, when I began as an accounting intern while completing my Master of Accountancy degree at Southern Utah University. Today, I serve as the Senior Executive Vice President of Operations. I have strategic and financial oversight of Leavitt Group’s insurance agencies, which includes management of the operations team — a group of business advisors who are charged to act on behalf of Leavitt Group and represent its ownership interest within Leavitt Group’s insurance agencies.
I’m an enterprising personality type who helps independent insurance agencies drive profitable growth. Competitive at heart, I find my motivation in collaboration, cooperation, and helping others. With all my work, I emphasize detail and novel ways of solving problems, producing ideas, and implementing business plans.
My wife, Amy, and I have three adult children who live between Nevada and Utah. In July of 2021, we moved to the Charlotte, North Carolina region. The southeast is a beautiful place to live, and we’ve really enjoyed the weather, food, and entertainment. In my spare time, I love to fly fish. There’s nothing quite like being outdoors, standing in the middle of a stream, and hooking up a nice-sized trout.
I’m also a huge college football fan. My father, my oldest son, and I all played college football for Southern Utah University. In the end, I’m a simple guy who loves to spend time with family and friends. I look forward to making your acquaintance!
