About Steve
I have 30+ years of experience helping businesses find insurance, especially contractors, shopping centers, office complexes, and wineries. In “the old days,” I ran my own insurance agency and eventually joined with Leavitt Group for their strong sense of service to their clients and communities.
I was born and raised in a farming family in the Salinas Valley and later attended Fresno State University. (Go Dogs!) One of the things I enjoy most is giving back to my community—currently, I serve as the president of the Monterey County POPS! Our group provides free community concerts and school residency programs throughout Monterey County.
I enjoy spending time with my wife, Karen, our two kids, four grandkids, and very energetic dog Kona. In my spare time, you can find me trail running, hiking, going to the beach, wine tasting, or enjoying a delicious meal at Julia’s Vegetarian Restaurant in Pacific Grove.
