Michelle Stewart

I consider myself a "career employee” of Risk Services of Louisiana and have no desire to work anywhere else. I started as the receptionist, moved to accounting within a couple of months, obtained my license in 2011, and became a Commercial Insurance Account Manager in 2012.

In 2019, I was promoted to the Property and Casualty Service Team Leader which quickly grew into a larger position due to our agency’s growth. This enabled me to be promoted to the Property and Casualty Practice Leader where I oversee the service aspects of our commercial insurance department.

I’m a detailed people person and truly love what I do. I help others understand the “why” behind what we do so they can understand how it all ties together. I’ve earned my Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations, which have shaped me into the insurance professional I am today.

My husband and I have two boys. We all love baseball and being outside together, so our family activities are centered around their teams. I also enjoy live country music, whether it’s at a small, local venue or a large mainstream concert.
